Actor Shah Rukh Khan gets Y+ security cover amid threats

    The official said the decision to beef up security for Khan was made last week after consideration by a powerful committee.

    He said the National Intelligence Service had therefore conveyed the matter to all police commissions, police stations and special protection units.

    Last year, an argument broke out over the song “Besharam Rang” from Khan’s film “Pattern”. A seer from Ayodhya issued a threat to an actor.

    In 2010, security was tightened for Mr Khan after he received threats over the release of his film “My Name Is Khan.”
