Chiru Labs, the web3 company behind the popular NFT collections Azuki and Beanz, has partnered with Line Friends creators IPX for their co-branded Web3 initiative.Both companies Said will join forces on Wednesday to create new web3 content, merchandise, reality activations and immersive metaverse experiences.
The first co-branded content will initially focus on the Beanz NFT collection and Line Friends characters.
IPX is expanding its partner list for Line Friends characters after previous collaborations with major mainstream brands such as Starbucks, Netflix, McDonald’s and K-pop band BTS.
The Line Friends characters originally started as stickers offered on the LINE messaging app and have evolved into an IP brand known as IPX.
In a press release issued Wednesday, Zagabond, the pseudonymous founder and CEO of Chiru Labs, said: IP is evolving and we believe the web3 community is an integral part of this next wave. ”
Chiru Labs brings an amine-inspired creative edge built on the strong foundation of Azuki NFTs. The collection has accumulated over 470,000 ETH in trading volume since its launch last January.
Commenting on the partnership, Logan Cho, Head of Metaverse Business at IPX, said: We would like to reveal an expanded IP business, including Web3, that will provide cooperation opportunities for both NFT owners and character IP enthusiasts. ”
Last November, Chiru Labs expanded Web3’s offering after working with Bybit and Oracle Red Bull Racing to equip F1 cars with the excellent NFT “Lei the Lightning Azuki”.
