    CES: LUCI shows off immersion-on-demand wearable and VR headset

    Entertainment experience company LUCI unveiled its immersion-on-demand wearable and VR headset offerings at CES 2018 in Las Vegas this week. Dubbed “LUCI immers” and “LUCI alyx,” respectively, the company appears to be aiming to be a game-changing player in the burgeoning wearables and VR sectors.

    “LUCI hopes to fundamentally change the way people consume content by giving users the most visually stunning experience possible through wearable technology.” Josh Littlefield, vice president of global sales and marketing for LUCI, said:

    “We want our users to be amazed by the nuances of every frame, every scene, and every detail through an uncompromising viewing experience.” he continued.

    The company’s “Immers” product is a wearable designed for more traditional 2D and 3D content, via ultra-lightweight Ultra-HD wearables compatible with high-definition content, offering a “premium on-the-go” experience. We offer a “real movie theater experience”. 3D 4K production.

    At CES, the company is also previewing its second product line, “alyx,” an all-in-one virtual reality wearable. It’s unclear if the company intends to encourage independent content production for its platform, or if it will be compatible with content produced for his existing VR platform.
