Tech billionaire Elon Musk has revealed that he is working on TruthGPT, an alternative to ChatGPT that acts as a “maximum truth-seeking AI.”
In an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Musk said an alternative approach to AI creation is needed to avoid the doom of humanity.
He also accused Google co-founder Larry Page of not taking AI safety seriously.

“I’m going to start what I call TruthGPT, or a maximal truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe,” Musk said in an interview.
“We are an interesting part of the universe, so I think this might be the best route to safety in the sense that an AI that cares about understanding the universe is unlikely to wipe out humans. ”
