core – MWC would not be complete without a new Open Radio Area Networks (Open RAN) update. Vodafone will reveal key advances being made to improve the maturity, security and energy efficiency of Open RAN. This includes building on Vodafone’s existing urban deployment in the UK (first in Europe), further preparing Open RAN for wider deployment in populated towns and cities, and working with national authorities on security. This includes strengthening cooperation and increasing the energy efficiency of all components.
Vodafone’s 5G network is a powerful tool to support, enhance and enable business and consumer innovation.
