Diesel’s first watch of its kind, the Vert is fully conceptualized by Diesel’s Creative Director Glenn Martens and is part of several styles from the brand’s new advanced Metamorph collection, created with cutting-edge VR technology. One. The contemporary approach to design under Martens’ direction creates a hardshell look that is both organic and futuristic, yet disruptive and unique.
The collection initially launched in five styles including Silver Tone ($350), Gold Tone ($375) and Black ($375), and is a limited edition of only 700 pieces worldwide, with a silver tone case and The bracelet features contrasting leather black. 300-piece white limited edition ($425) with inlay accents ($395) and silver sunray dial, 3-hand date movement, white leather and gunmetal stainless steel bracelet. Purchasing any Vert style will link the owner to his NFT in the collection and give him the opportunity to interact with the virtual world.
“Vert is my first watch in this collection, so I’m really excited about the launch of Metamorph. It reinvents the brand in a way that says Diesel is for everyone. Vertebral deformity is organic It’s based on what it might look like: the structure of a bone. Are you from the Metaverse? Are you an alien? Are you human? It’s the concept of a central point, the backbone of something or someone. How we designed Metamorph is linked to the new generation. It’s virtual reality. It’s a sexy watch. ” says Diesel Creative Director Glenn Martens.
