Admittedly, it's been a while since we've heard the term “metaverse.” The concept became a hot topic in the tech world early last year, but by late 2023, interest in virtual worlds seemed to be waning.
Soundscape, the brand behind the VR music platform that debuted at CES 2024, wants to change all that with the launch of Music Metaverse, where fans can experience virtual performances by artists and DJs.
Although the platform was originally released in 2017, Soundscape features enhanced graphics built on Unreal Engine 5, an advanced 3D computer graphics engine used for video game and movie development. We have published a new updated version of Metaverse with and play mechanics.
Soundscape partners with artists to create unique VR concert experiences for fans. Many popular artists have partnered with Soundscape to perform in the Metaverse, including Deadmau5, Slash, and Evanescent.
Designed to simulate an “interactive audiovisual environment,” Soundscape creates a virtual music festival within the Metaverse where users can explore, interact, and experience VR performances using personalized avatars. When you're not watching a virtual concert, Soundscape's audio-responsive AI engine soundtracks the experience, syncing Metaverse's lights and visual effects in real-time with the music you select from streaming services.
“At Soundscape, we have a vision for a metaverse that amplifies human creativity and art through the most powerful immersive technology,” said Soundscape Founder and CEO Eric Alexander. Masu.
“The Metaverse offers the chance to create completely new experiences, new artistic mediums, that overturn anything anyone has seen before. With Soundscape, we are pushing the boundaries of everything this technology can offer. I am.”
Priced at $39.99, it will be available for purchase and download exclusively on Steam for VR and PC on January 23, 2024.
