The FlashArray Technical Marketing team is responsible for supporting the go-to-market strategy and execution of our flagship product, FlashArray. The technical marketers and evangelists on our team are focused on creating world-class technical content that helps connect our solutions to our customers’ challenges. We accomplish this by empowering our field sales representatives and educating customers through long-form content, videos, blogs, demos, and presentations. Our team collaborates cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, partners, enablement, and executive staff.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the FA Technical Marketing team as a Lead Technical Marketing Engineer for FlashArray File Services. In this role, you will help expand Pures’ reach by creating content for enablement, partners, and customers that positions FlashArray file services as the best way to store structured and unstructured file data. Key Responsibilities: You will be the “Virtual Leader” for the SE organization and the SME driving technical sales enablement for Flash Array file services. Partner with FlashArray Product Management and Engineering to understand current and future feature payloads and product strategy to deliver ongoing services. feedback. Contribute to Pures FlashArray’s strategic priorities by creating compelling technical enablement and marketing materials, including product demos, presentations, webinars, blogs, and videos. We identify and fill content gaps that prevent our sector and customers from fully understanding and achieving the value of FlashArray files. service. Be able to explain complex technical systems and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences both in writing and orally.
What you’ll need for this role… Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured data, data services, and protocols including SMB and NFS 7+ years in sales engineering, consulting, technical marketing, or other technical sales role Experience Deep working understanding of data center infrastructure, primary and/or secondary storage. Must have public speaking experience and be comfortable with a variety of speaking environments, from one-on-one to large audiences. Excellent aptitude for technical translations Experience managing structured and unstructured file data that distills differentiators into simple stories. Experience delivering white papers, best practice guides, product demos, presentations, and enablement content. Requires extensive knowledge across data centers and software with significant technical depth for the enterprise. Proven track record with ownership Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time and have a valid U.S. passport. Experience using a suite of content creation tools such as Adobe Creative is a plus
It will be based in Santa Clara, California. This is an office-based job, so you will be required to work in the office three days a week. As outlined in the Pures Hybrid Work Policy, this may vary over time depending on business needs.
Annual base salaries range from $117,000 to $251,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level, and location. For positions with candidates available in multiple geographic locations, the base salary range reflects the applicable location’s labor market. This role may include incentive pay and equity.
