    SEOUL, Nov. 27 (Yonhap) – South Korea’s leading mobile phone company SK Telecom will partner with information technology companies in three Southeast Asian countries to expand its Metaverse business in the region, a company official said on Monday. I made it.

    According to sources, SK Telecom has signed memoranda of understanding (MOU) with Malaysia’s Celcom Digi, Indonesia’s Agate, and Philippines’ Cosmic Technologies to cooperate in improving its metaverse platform ifland in Southeast Asia.

    Under the MoU, SKT will focus on creating global services, while partners will develop locally customized content and support local customers.

    SKT has been conducting localization tests of ifland for the Southeast Asian market since July, and currently has Indonesian, Malaysian and Hindi language services for the platform, as well as content curation services for users in various regions. He said it is under development.
